I am not concerned whether Nithyananda has reached/is reaching any higher spiritual levels. But he has wronged all his disciples and commoners who have ultimate faith in the word “GURU”. Just as a child is associated with innocence and a dog with faithfulness, so is the word GURU associated with supreme purity of thoughts, words and action.
Being a disciple myself of a supreme guru, I was so much pained by the thought of how much traumatized those innocent monks/disciples who sought refuge in him, might have been after all this. Why open so many ashrams, induct so many young people, when one knows that one is yet to reach that stage of celibacy and detachment? Couldn't he have said that he is not yet the higher being who can guide them?? How dare he accept being honoured a "Paramahamsa"? If he has not done anything wrong, then why go into hiding?? What does it matter if he is jailed or pelleted by stones by people. Would it tarnish his purity in any way if he is indeed true? Have such things not happened to other swamis like Sathya sai baba or Jayendra saraswathi in recent times? Have they run away from it??? Have they not stood by their devotees during those extremely difficult times…
Oh No, Nithyananda ji… Death is a painless punishment for you.. I hope you will know how to punish yourself better!
