New York Times - Whats going on ?
By shiva on Aug 31, 2009 | In Announcements | Send feedback »
I start my day with news.google.com.
Today I opened and came across - Sri Lankan Journalist Gets 20-Year Jail Term.
Surprisingly and funny - this caught my eyes.

Of course, I understand, Google 'Feeds in' the news from various channels. So it wouldn't be their problem.
So I went ahead to the original source - None other than New York Times.
The first reason I tried to convince myself was :
- It's a mistake and by chance. or
- I will leave the other possible doubts to the readers of this post since expressing that gets murky
But I could not convince myself with that reason considering their (NYTimes) reputation:
The very likely reason could be:
- if Pakistan, Islamabad are shown in the news, the readership visits and reading the article will shoot up by 1000%. Thats the only possible reason which convinces me right now. A common American knows only India and Pakistan, rather they have been branded such - NEED TO KNOW basis strategy. That also adds value to my reason.
Thats it for now.
Enjoy Life.
Percentage: A favorite media statistic, often MISLEADING
By shiva on Aug 31, 2009 | In Announcements | Send feedback »
In today's capitalist driven world, there are only few strategies / tactics used to make an aggressive marketing / sale pitch. They are quite straight forward if we take a second before accepting. However life is not simple.
Here is one of them : Using PERCENTAGE(%) which is the concerned number over total number.
The important point to not forget is the "total number" or the sample size considered.
For example:
- 8 men (our concerned number) of 10 men (Sample Size - total number) are having AIDS - this is 8/10 - 80% -
- 80000 men (our concerned number) of 100000 men ( Sample Size - total number) are of height 5'10" - this again is 80%.
In the first example, 10 - a very very insignificant number when compared to populations hence one really SHOULD NOT panic. If this number is masked and 80% of men have AIDS promotes/rings a totally different meaning to the story - which is UNETHICAL - A capitalist is NOT bothered. We have to be bothered to know the truth and take the right decision. NOT fall prey to exploitation of any sort.
I hope you got the illusion PERCENTAGE can give out.
The % usage will NOT reflect the true sample size and how much effort has been put to get the statistic.
Hence this statistic is mostly commonly used in the media circles and health circles to market their findings however small they are and how ever unreliable they are. The current topic of interest is: SWINE FLU Statistic.
Bottom line: Dont believe in percentage values in ANY headings - Devil is always in the detail - REMEMBER.
Swine Flu - Part III - My Reply to Paul, Chief Editor, WSJ, India.
By shiva on Aug 27, 2009 | In Announcements | Send feedback »
This is for my reference only:
Paul, Fair enough.
Here is my take: No body looks at the bigger picture or bigger picture is generally and some how efficiently masked from the public.
The pharma perspective was given by friend Mr. Rohit Reddy. Another angle, a logical one is aptly given by Meera bhalla.
This is in addition to accepting their comment more than 100%.
I will keep it bulleted:
a) Decision on Swine Flu - A dangerous , *ndimic is too early - One needs to wait.
Especially India should wait since it could be strategy of exploitation
b) As pointed out, There are many bigger and dangerous diseases which needs attention than Swine Flu at this point of time. Indian Govt. should give time for this FLU
to prove itself, rather than falling prey to socio-political and their TIME pressure tactics and exploitation.
c) All the data is NOT believable - All the data being shown is Make-Believe Tactic. Statistics, people reaction, anxiety and some "recognized" credible source is always "doable" and need NOT be believed.
d) Indians might be resistant to this already because they live on the concepts of Evolving, adapting. Their beliefs and strengths are totally different from rest of the world.
d) The speed of its spread is TOO FAST to become believable. Almost impossible. The media attention should be taken with "ROCK of SALT" , not "grain of salt".
e) No Credible Story but Vaccines are already in market - Cannot buy the story.
f) Most probably its a "CREATED NEED" from a Business sense, using Health Care, Scare tactics, Biological Ignorance, Human Psyche and 1billion Indian population - the story fits with Exploitation NOT as genuine CAUSE.
g) A dangerous disease will not wait for COUNTS. The guys who have diagnosed will NOT dare to go there if its really dangerous. The truth is seen in "hard" situations. There have not been any hard situations.
h) It is very likely this is a "CREATED / COOKED UP REALITY STORY": since all this is possible in today's capitalist driven world: Buying 1) A scientist as a spokes person for the disease, 2) necessary statistics, 3) "considered" credible source 4) postings/emails/letters and 5) especially buying politicians and ministers, even upto PM/President in India of 1.5Billion individuals.
i) US of A has been playing the Managerial role for almost a decade now - from behind the curtain - the Swine Flu origin is from US of A. WSJ is from US of A - I am inclined to NOT BUYING this story of SWINE FLU.
I hope its NOT TRUE. May be its a first recombinant Virus survived and released into Atmosphere for some other objective, getting testers in this way - this is Much bigger picture, if one can understand.
Thanks paul.
Bye.
Prasad.
This can be considered corruption on a global scale.
Swine Flu - Created need confirmed - Why ? Part II
By shiva on Aug 27, 2009 | In Announcements | Send feedback »
In my My earlier post I opined that it might be a created need with planned dosages of media intervention into news and blogs.
You may get a doubt: Why is this topic, which was earlier in 'Society' blog, shifted now to 'Politics'.
- Simple: A gaint like WSJ(Wall street Journal) has endorsed such a topic which is NOT its domain, hence I smelled "SWINE FLU is in fact a POLITICAL GAME PLAN , may be I can take a step farther to say, its a conspiracy". You should read my earlier topic why it is a multi- billion dollar idea of US.
- To get a perspective, you should also read the comments on the WSJ Topic.
The debate : WSJIDEBATE: Is India Prepared to Tackle Swine Flu? coming from none other than WSJ (Wall Street Journal) has confirmed that this is a definitely a CREATED NEED.
By endorsing such a topic, WSJ has opened and/or answered many questions about US Economy in the first place and many other associated topics.
- Dont fall prey to a topic's title. Take a second think of its validity. WSJ is for Finances, Business Strategies and Economy think tank of US.
- Why is it that it is suddenly loosing its focus and talking and/or showing unnecessary interest in
countries like India and medical conditions like Swine flu??? Thats not their domain or - is it becoming a media accomplice to Swine Flu Hype ?
- Should it be considered as a US economy desperation ???
- I see this article unnecessary and completely irrelevant @ WSJ and
the Topic being initiated by gaints like WSJ.
What can I say: Don't be scared, World is run by capitalists. They are running desperate. Finance will become flat soon. All this is leading to 'cheap tricks unfortunately'. I still believe - Natural and evolving life is the way to go which has been the way of life in India. So believe in yourself and tell yourself to adapt. Thats it. Things will happen to take care of.
What is Management?

An unanswered question?

Why US of A is called :
Land of Opportunity
and NOT
Country of Opportunity?
Problem is NOT with World PROBLEMS:
By shiva on Aug 22, 2009 | In Announcements | Send feedback »
The most important problem is Not about the problem and/or solutions but:
"how to keep the problem perpetual so it becomes a golden duck, yet the world is kept under the illusion that attempts are going on and on forever?" - as you see this is an Intellectual Challenge for the Managers and NOT to "solution providers".
For example: How to encourage terrorism without the world realizing that its actually being encouraged? Why encourage terrorism: Simple: My weapons selling business should flourish - thats it. I dont care who is suffering and how much.
New Virgin Land - A capitalist approach in 21st century
By shiva on Aug 12, 2009 | In b2evolution Tips | Send feedback »
I am a business man
I am a business man. I know I am greedy, miser, control freek, cut-throat and calculated - all that I need to be successful billionaire.
I have only one Goal:
I want to become richer and richer and richer and richer ........
This is my success story:
- One fine morning, on an exploration expedition, I found a fertile, virgin land.
- I realized the potential of that land. I am greedy. You know my goal right ?!.
- Explored the interior of the new found land - I called it VirginLands.
- Went back to home.
- All along thinking about how to make money with this discovery
- Realized its not a one man's job
- Realized it needs MONEY and HUMAN RESOURCE
- Realized it needs a strategy
- Realized it needs a hidden strategy which benefits me first: I want to become richer and richer and richer and ....hmmm You know it by now..
- I outlined for myself the following 14 - 15 point strategies: It was lot of work.
- Strategy 1: Never Risk own Money and resources
- Strategy 2: Get control over the land as much as possible and draw a border and fence ASAP before some body claims
- Strategy 3: Who ever Enters the land should pay me some favor, at the same time I should make-belief them a sense of ownership
- Strategy 4: Create a sense of accountability and seriousness - create some agreements, drafts, documents - call them standards
- Strategy 4: Create specializations and centers of excellence for every tiny/trivial aspect be it eating habits in a dorm or dress codes in corporate meetings and provide an identity
- Strategy 5: Create a sense of uniformity - create some codes
- Strategy 6: Create a sense of uniqueness and variability - create rules and regulations which are UNIQUE even if they are UPSIDE down/REVERSE/OPPOSITE compared to rest of the known world
- Strategy 7: Make it an attractive destination for investors, workers and others especially - the RICH in the other part of the world
- Strategy 8: What Attracts: "Creating a No Problems Env": What is No Problems: Freedom:
- Strategy 9: What type of FREEDOM attractive: FREEDOM FOR SEX, FREEDOM TO WORK, FREEDOM TO EXPLORE
- Strategy 10: Identify the attractive investment opportunities: Defence, Sex and People
- Strategy 11: To avoid Ethical Clashes, digging the hidden strategies - Divert Attention, Bring in a sense of Universal Appeal, World Problems, Big Picture Problems such as Global Warming, Terrorism etc
- Strategy 12: Divert Attention, Create Illusion - Marketing, Branding, Socializing, Networking and Entertainment
- Strategy 13: Be on the Scientific and Technological Edge - project as - Leader with standards - Essentially to avoid Hidden Strategies
- Strategy 14: Create a sense of emotional ownership (patriotism) and identity
thats it. I implemented this and see where I am today!! on cloud 9 - a billionaire.
-
I am a business man I care a damn for abstract things called Ethics, Trust, Faith, Love, relation and all other abstract feelings. Damn Them !!!
I am proud of my design. I am proud I made the rest of the world fools by letting them fall into my strategies. I am the richest man on earth. For me, its still a piece of land which served my purpose. Thats it. I exploited it thoroughly. Thats my hidden strategy. Thank you!! Darling!! I am a business man.
Okay, Whats the point:
A business man cannot be a leader. A business man cannot think beyond 'his and him'. The downfall is inevitable.
Consequences:
- The duck laying Golden eggs is killed
Comments and Solutions: How to avoid downfall:
- Life is much much more than SEX, TRADE, BUSINESS, SELFISHNESS, STRATEGIES, MARKETING, NETWORKING, ALLIANCES, ENTERTAINMENT.
- EMBRACE democracy in the true sense. There is nothing wrong learning from others and/or copying them if its good.
- There is some more to life and living than making money all through. Making money should be ONLY ONE OF THE challenges of life NOT ONLY Challenge of Life.
- Best is: Turn inwards. Try to answer: Who am I without Money? - since I came naked - Logical right? .
Thats a good start.
America and Oil Price Bubble
By shiva on Aug 12, 2009 | In b2evolution Tips | Send feedback »
I always had this feeling that there is no shortage of oil but its more 'stage managed' by
some group. I had this strong feeling.
It's common sense, the Iraq War is a means of getting easy Oil barrells back to home
since if the oil producing countries start selling oil for higher price to America, it's
economy will be in great problem. So the strategic step would be to invade with varied reasons
such as "Weapons of Mass Destruction" etc which were meant for the public.
Think about a situation, if the Oil barrels are sold in Euros or Pounds or in Yuans. Understandably, dollar will loose its supremacy. If Money is lost, POWER is lost. Basically to retain POWER, one takes all these steps..
The following article gives many more facts about American
Fedministration. Go ahead and read it.
an interesting article on "There is no shortage of oil". To get the pulse read the comments.
America in Recession 2008-09 - an expected event
By shiva on Aug 12, 2009 | In b2evolution Tips | Send feedback »
Recession - An expected Event
Recession is a situation where the Business Community wants to retain
their Profit Margin which they have been enjoying "unduely" since American
Inception - (a bit exaggerated). This Business Community is so deep rooted
into the system that no one can do any thing about it. Finally
it affects only the average American Citizen who is a consumer and who is
"compelled" to remain a "consumer".
The Business Community who are capitalist in attitude is least bothered about the American Citizens. They are bothered about their money and investments..so they "AXE" whenever and where ever they want....
Same is situation for "Oil Price hikes too".
an interesting article on recession 2008
Obama Finally Won!! Wow!! What next ?
By shiva on Aug 12, 2009 | In b2evolution Tips | Send feedback »
YES!! YES!! Finally Obama Won, its a historic moment.
Obama Won, What next?
Lets get back to ground after seeing
all the campaign hype for 1.5 years.
Definitely, Obama has shown lot of maturity in tackling allegations, showcasing the problems
to a common American, identifying himself with the common American.
So what's my concern here:
- 4 years term is too less a time for Obama to bring back and/or implement his promises and bring economy to main stream.
- I think, its not the President's Problem, its the American Power Coridor or the capitalist's Attitude problem which is responsible for all the downfall. So Obama,
how much ever he tries, may not be successful. - Unless the Power Coridor understands and puts the country first over their personal business advantages, nothing is going to change. Yes, We Can may just remain as slogan forever. Almost Impossible.
